Personal informations
Elena Guzzon was
born in Rome, Italy, on December 1th, 1986. She received the 2nd level
Laurea Degree (Laurea Magistralis) cum laude in Information and
Telecommunications Technology engineering font from the University
of ROMA TRE, Rome, Italy in October 2010. The title of her
thesis was "Efficient Techniques for Optimal Spectrum Allocation in
Cognitive Radio Networks".
Since January
2011, she is a Ph.D. student in Telecommunications at the University
of ROMA TRE. Her main research interests are in the field of
cognitive radio, software radio, digital processing in
telecommunications, code acquisition and
synchronization for the 3G
mobile communication systems and multimedia communication. She is a
student member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronic
Engineers.
During this period, from June 2012 to
July 2012, she was visiting researcher at the Communications Engineering department in the
Tampere University of Technology (TUT) located in Tampere,
Finland.
Currently she collaborates to the
